Meet and Greet with Elizabeth St. John
The ESU Kansas City Branch is hosting a special Post-Lecture Fundraising Buffet Reception for ESU members and guests to personally meet author Elizabeth St. John. Join us for a wonderful buffet reception after the lecture at one of Kansas City's finest restaurants. This Meet and Greet the Author Fundraiser is an optional event. Guests may attend the lecture only at no charge or attend the lecture and the Fundraiser Buffet Reception.

Time for Buffet Reception Fundraiser: 8:00 pm following the lecture at KC Central Library
Where: Banksia, An Australian Bakehouse and Café, 105 W. 9th St., Kansas City, Mo. Just a short walk from the Library. Banksia appeals to the sophisticated diner in a casual café setting. The food combines a multicultural Australian influence with a classic European café and bakery. From the Library, walk west one-half block to Baltimore Ave. Go south on Baltimore one block to 9th Street. Banksia is two doors west on 9th Street. If you've never been to Banksia, you are in for a unique dining experience. Transportation will be provided to anyone who needs assistance to the restaurant from the Library, otherwise, it's a short walk.
Tickets for Fundraiser Reception includes lecture at 6:30 pm: $50 per person includes delightful buffet selection of food from Banksia's award-winning Australian and European recipes including Australian Pavlova for dessert. Gratuity included. Cash bar available. As a fundraiser, approximately one-half of ticket price will be a tax-deductible donation to the ESU Education Fund.
