ESU-USA Executive Director to Speak at Branch Meeting

On SUNDAY, January 21,2024, at 4PM, our Monmouth Branch meeting will begin at the Wyndrums home, 35 Cooney Terrace , Fair Haven, NJ . It will feature invited speaker Ms. Karen Karpowich, the Executive Director of the ESU-USA. She will address the programs, purposes and global accomplishments of the ESU, including a group discussion.

2024 Annual Shakespeare Compeition

The Monmouth County Branch Shakespeare Competition will be held at the Middletown Arts Center, 36 Church Street, Middletown NJ on Saturday, March 2nd from 11 am to 1 pm. 

Admission is free, and the event is sure to be uplifting.

The ESU National Shakespeare Competition Starts Now!

We are pleased to announce the kick-off of the ESU's National Shakespeare Competition! Schools in our region may enter now, giving students the opportunity to participate in the Monmouth Branch Competition.  The winner of the branch competition will travel to NYC to compete in the national finals at Lincoln Center!

40th Anniversary ESU National Shakespeare Competition Winner

Congratulations to the Monmouth Branch's own Claire Liotta, who was a top 10 finalist at the 40th Anniversary ESU National Shakespeare Competition at Lincoln Center in New York City on April 24, 2023. Claire, a student of Smita Ganatra of Glen Ridge High School, was one of forty-one semi-finalists who came from all over the country, along with parents, branch coordinators, teachers and supporters for this exciting weekend-long event.
