Let’s Celebrate Molière’s 400th Birthday

SUNDAY, MAY 1, 2022, 2:00 to 4:30 PM

 Theatre! Dance! Music! Laughter! CAKE!


ESU members and Friends of ESU are cordially invited to a FREE 400th Birthday Celebration for the famous French playwright of the 17th century, Molière. There will be music and performance, participatory demonstrations, a Children's Corner, some special guests, and cake for all. This special celebration is free and open to the public. Sunday, May 1, 2022, 2 - 4:30 PM at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kirkwood Hall. This is a birthday party you will not want to miss! Bring the whole family!

• Non-members of the Nelson-Atkins Museum will need to reserve a timed-entry FREE ticket for access to the museum. For non-museum members, Click here to reserve in advance online (recommended!) or by phone at 816.751.1278; or onsite at the information desk. It's recommended to call to get a ticket for an entry time before 2:00 p.m.


• Members do not need a ticket and can check-in at the info desk to gain entry.


• There is no limit as to how long one can stay in the museum.

 

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is committed to being a safe environment to work and visit. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the museum made extensive changes in day-to-day procedures. Visitors need to know:

Masks are no longer required to visit the museum. However, you are welcome to wear masks or face coverings. Surfaces are sanitized frequently, and hand sanitizer is available throughout the museum.
