National Shakespeare Competition

Students read, analyze, perform and recite Shakespearean monologues and sonnets in three qualifying stages: at the school, regional, and national levels. Approximately 2,500 teachers and 20,000 students in nearly 50 ESU Branch communities participate each year.

2024 Deadlines:

December 18 - School participation forms must be submitted to the branch

February 24 - School winner form must be submitted to branch

March 2 - St. Louis Branch Competition (Date & Time TBA)
