Join the ESU on our new website here.

The Portland branch of the ESU always welcomes new members.  We host a range of interesting speakers, including those from the ESU's Evelyn Wrench National Speakers program. Our activities include participation in the annual Shakespeare Competition and the Books Across the Sea Project, and tutoring in our local English in Action program.

In addition to our programs, the Portland branch has a summer picnic, a Christmas holiday party, and a Twelfth Night dinner with a guest speaker or entertainment from a local group or school.
